7th Street/10th Avenue N

This project will increase bicycle access along 7th Street N. The street is currently wide and imposing to cyclists, so the project will include bike lanes, with some road lane conversions. It will also include bike boxes painted on the street at intersections so bikers have a place to wait for traffic signals separate from cars, and lights at two intersections. The corridor is expected to be utilized by travelers between the city's north side and downtown.

Emerson/Fremont Avenue N

This is a bicycle project along Emerson Avenue and Fremont Avenue in North Minneapolis (parallel one-way streets). A single northbound bicycle lane along Emerson Avenue will be added next to northbound lanes. This project will also be a test site for 25 mph speed limits.

Glenwood Avenue

This project will add bicycle lanes along Glenwood Avenue. A 4-3 road lane conversion is proposed. Where only two lanes exist, parking may need to be removed in some locations. If the residents of the neighborhood are not open to removing parking, bicycle chevrons will be placed where the bike lane would otherwise run, supplemented by passing signs for motorists. This project also includes signs and bicycle racks.

Plymouth Avenue N/8th Avenue NE

This project connects Northeast Minneapolis to existing bike lanes in North Minneapolis (2nd Street N). The project includes adding bike lanes to Plymouth Avenue N./8th Avenue NE by reducing some 4-lane portions to 3 or 2 lanes. Four lanes will be retained at the bridge crossing the Mississippi River.
