This project includes amenities to improve "livability" along Lowry Avenue, which will be widened and rebuilt to better accommodate bicyclists and pedestrians. Amenities include pedestrian timers, bike racks, a bike shelter, and signs helping pedestrians find local destinations. Minneapolis Artist in Residence Seitu Jones will create public art ideas for amenities listed.

This study will look at how to help more people bike along Central Ave NE from the Mississippi River to 37th Ave NE. in Minneapolis. Central Avenue is a four lane road that currently has a high pedestrian and bicycle crash rate.

This is a bicycle boulevard project on 22nd Avenue NE. Changes will include reducing the speed limit to 25 mph, "no passing cyclists" signs, special pavement markings for bikers, options to divert traffic, fewer stop signs, speed bumps, and improved crossings for bikers at busy streets.

The Fillmore/6th Avenue Bike Walk Street project will provide a biking and walking corridor along these residential streets, three to five blocks east and parallel to Central Avenue in Northeast and Southeast Minneapolis.
