A public bike sharing rental system connecting Downtown Minneapolis, Uptown, and the University of Minnesota Campus.

This is a 4-to-3 road lane conversion project with new bicycle lanes in the Riverside Avenue corridor in South Minneapolis. The project provides the most direct southeast to northwest connection for bicyclists, and now includes signs, and bike lane stripes. While the 4-3 has been accomplished (as a study), the entire road will be resurfaced as part of the Riverside Ave. Reconstruction Project (2011-2012), to be paid for by City of Minneapolis.
This project will add bike lanes to Minnehaha Avenue in South Minneapolis, in addition to upgrading the existing 20th Avenue bike lanes to year-round facilities. It will include signs, stripes for bike lanes, and bike racks.
This project will add bike lanes by reducing the number of travel lanes along 1st Avenue and Blaisdell Avenue in South Minneapolis (a pair of one-way streets). Where bike lanes are not possible due to parking and car traffic flow, chevrons with signs are proposed.
This project along Bryant Avenue S will include both a bicycle boulevard and shared lane street markings. The bike boulevard (north of Lake Street and south of 50th Street) will include speed bumps, removal of some stop signs, and improved crossings for cyclists at busy streets, including a median on Franklin Ave. The shared lane markings south of Lake Street will be emphasized with 100-foot intermittent green advisory bike lanes that encourage proper lane position, as motorists will need to pass bicyclists by changing lanes.
This project will complete a bike walk street connecting the Chain of
Lakes to the Mississippi River midway between the Midtown Greenway and
Minnehaha Parkway. The project consists of bike lanes, traffic
calming, trees and landscaping amenities.
Southern bike route connection to Richfield via Bloomington Ave/17th/18th.
This project will add bike lanes on the Franklin Avenue Bridge and the segment connecting to Riverside Ave., which will link South and Southeast Minneapolis through a 4-to-3 lane road conversion.
This project will make walking a safer and more pleasant activity at this busy intersection.
