This is a 4-to-3 road lane conversion project with new bicycle lanes in the Riverside Avenue corridor in South Minneapolis. The project provides the most direct southeast to northwest connection for bicyclists, and now includes signs, and bike lane stripes. While the 4-3 has been accomplished (as a study), the entire road will be resurfaced as part of the Riverside Ave. Reconstruction Project (2011-2012), to be paid for by City of Minneapolis.
