Ambassadors
The Bike/Walk Twin Cities Ambassadors are here to help you out! The Ambassadors provide the information and support needed to help you start bicycling and walking more often.
The Ambassadors are available to give presentations, lead safety/user clinics, and host events year-round. They'll help your group learn how to reach destinations by foot or bike with ease. You can request an Ambassador for a meeting, event, or demonstration in Minneapolis and the following communities: Brooklyn Center, Columbia Heights, Edina, Falcon Heights, Fridley, Golden Valley, Lauderdale, Richfield, Robbinsdale, Roseville, Saint Anthony, St. Louis Park, and St. Paul.
The Bike Walk Twin Cities Ambassadors are managed by the City of Minneapolis as part of the Bike Walk Twin Cities initiative, an exciting program that is helping more people starting bicycling and walking in the Twin Cities. The initiative, managed by Transit for Livable Communities, is part of the federal Non-Motorized Transportation Pilot Project (NTP), which aims to get more people bicycling and walking by 2010.
