The Bike Walk Ambassador Program provides education and outreach to places of work, schools, higher education institutions, and neighborhoods. We provide services to encourage people to bike more, walk more, and drive less. [Menu of Services]

The Ambassador Program serves the City of Minneapolis geographic area, and works out of the Minneapolis Public Works Department.

As a business owner, I work within a 1-mile radius on my bicycle and support bicycling opportunities in my community.

Bicycles May Use Full Lane

The first "Bikes May Use Full Lane" signs (in this region) have now been erected on Marshall Ave in St. Paul (between Cretin Ave. and the river). The sign reinforces existing traffic law that allows bicyclists to "take the lane" when it is necessary for their safety.... like going downhill fast! Don't be shy—position your bicycle in the center of the lane and hold your position.
