Intercept Surveys of bicyclists and pedestrians were conducted in 2007 and will be repeated in 2010. 300 surveys were taken from a representative number of locations within Minneapolis.

Area-wide counts were conducted in September of 2007, 2008, and 2009 and will be repeated in September of 2010. Transit for Livable Communities started monthly counts at six locations in February of 2009.

In January 2009, Transit for Livable Communities released Pedestiran and Bicycle Count Results: Bike Walk Twin Cities 2008 (2009), a report summarizing count trendssd from 2007 to 2008 for the Bike Walk Twin Cities program.
