Leading the way for our communities
We need both public resources and public engagement to create a holistic, community-generated vision of transit that really meets people's needs.

I believe we need both public resources and public engagement to create a holistic, community-generated vision of transit that really meets people's needs to get to good jobs, explore new avenues and remain connected to each other. By working together we can create the infrastructure for our transit system and build a stronger network of people who are walking, bicycling, and using transit to get around. As an elected official, I can help make this happen - and as community members, my family and I enjoy what our area has to offer! My husband and I are members of the Major Taylor cycling group and enjoy biking at parks and scenic routes around the Metro area. We look forward to when our granddaughters can participate in future bike trips.

Toni's commitment to biking, walking, and transit:

  1. Play an active role in making decisions about transit and transportation in the region, including decisions about the Central Corridor and future transitway development.
  2. Support local programs, including Active Living and Smart Trips, that encourage seniors, commuters, and everyone in-between to walk and bicycle more.
