Hennepin County Bicycle Advisory Committee

In 1989, Hennepin County established an advisory group to assist the Board of Commissioners and county staff with ideas on how to incorporate bicycle accommodations into roadway and transit projects. This group was called the Bicycle Advisory Committee (BAC). The BAC consists of 7 appointed members - one from each of the County Commissioner districts in Hennepin County. The BAC also has a number of ex-officio members that represent other biking interests, governmental agencies, and a liaison member to the Minneapolis BAC.
