Twin Cities Streets for People is a resource connecting people to knowledge, each other, and decision-makers. They focus their efforts on information sharing, community engagement, education and "alternative ideation" - the visioning and imagination of new ways to re-make streets for people.

Bike On

Bike On is an organization working to promote and advocate for bicycling in Minneapolis. It is a community, family and youth-centered organization that also supports walking and public transit as components in creating a strong urban fabric.

Bikes Belong

Bikes Belong is sponsored by the U.S. bicycle industry with the goal of putting more people on bicycles more often. They have nearly 400 members—bicycle suppliers and retailers combining resources to improve bicycling in America. Based in Boulder, Colorado, they have 12 professional staff, 18 volunteer directors, and a $2 million annual operating budget.

Hawthorne Area Community Council

The Hawthorne neighborhood is located in north Minneapolis and is bounded by the Mississippi River to the east, Emerson Avenue to the west, Broadway Avenue to the south and Lowry Avenue to the north. HNC has become a vibrant community catalyst, inspiring, mobilizing, and supporting comprehensive redevelopment of the neighborhood.
