Bike Walk Twin Cities needs you!

Transit for Livable Communities Bike Walk Twin Cities needs you to help us quantify biking and walking in the Twin Cities. From last year's bicycle and pedestrian counts in the Twin Cities, we learned that biking and walking have increased 30% over the past 3 years (more from the 2007-2010 count report here).

This year, Bike Walk Twin Cities is looking to conduct counts at 42 benchmark locations on September 13 and September 14 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. We are seeking your help again to continue the success of the count program that is a vital piece of program measurement for the Non-motorized Pilot Program.

Participants will need to attend one of our 30 minute training sessions being held at several locations in Minneapolis and St Paul. We are improving a few count procedures so we need to bring all counters up to date on these changes. At the training, you will receive count materials and a new T-shirt.

Help us make biking and walking COUNT!
