Want to get moving? Bike Walk Twin Cities is hoping to make taking that first step or dusting off your old bike that much easier. We're adding more than 75 miles of on-street bicycling and walking infrastructure and have launched Bike Walk Move to give you the tools you need to get out and get moving!

Our staff and volunteers can be seen throughout North and South Minneapolis collecting surveys about biking/walking habits, at farmers markets, and neighborhood events celebrating new infrastructure.

In South Minneapolis, we celebrated the opening of the Riverlake Greenway. The RLG is a complete east-west route from the Mississippi River to the Lakes providing dedicated space for cyclists and curb-bump-outs for pedestrians.

At least once a month, Bike Walk Move partners with the Kingfield Farmers Market at 43rd and Nicollet to educate shoppers about bicycling and walking safety, new routes, and basic bike maintenance.

On August 28th, we'll again be partnering with The Kingfield Market, Hourcar, and local bike mechanics for Sustainable Transportation Day at the market. The event goes from 9am-1pm and features bike valets, free tune-ups, and bike themed games and prizes. See you there!
