This project adds "shared bike lanes" to the Como Avenue corridor in Southeast Minneapolis, which gives bicycles equal priority to cars along this road.

It includes signs and bicycle racks. The project also includes an extension of the westbound Rollins Avenue bicycle lane, which is currently absent between 15th Ave and 17th Ave, as well as an extension of the northbound 15th Ave bike lane, which stops 100 feet short of Rollins Avenue.

On certain sections, 25 mph speed zones will be implemented as part of a state law that allows speed limits to be reduced to 25mph in conjunction with the marking and signing of bike lanes.
